Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Care PSW to provide high-quality care to patients in their homes. As a Home Care PSW you will be responsible for assisting patients with daily activities, medication reminders, providing emotional support, running errands, light house keepings, personal care and much more. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with personal care activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans

**Skills**:

- Familiarity with dementia care techniques and strategies
- Previous experience in nursing home, hospice care, or assisted living settings is preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-oriented approah

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $18.75-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 44 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- supportive care: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Driver License and vehicle (preferred)
- Update Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector (preferred)
- SD Check (preferred)
