**Essential Functions**:
This position works closely with Underwriters, insurance brokers (our customers) in the binding of insurance, servicing of policies, and review/follow-up of underwriting information. The position encourages and creates opportunities for growth so team members can develop their insurance acumen for long term company advancement.

**Other Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Review and professionally handle all customer inquiries within our service promise with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Work collaboratively with multiple departments to ensure best possible outcome for all inquiries while minimizing touches and providing excellent customer service
- Work within underwriting authority and obtain underwriter approval when necessary
- Pursue opportunities for growth and development through USLI University, continuing education, workshops and classes
- Communicate ideas for procedural or workflow improvement
- Complete departmental specific reports or projects
- Assist in training new team members when ready

**Specific Skills**:

- Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills
- Strong commitment to customer service and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced team environment
- Desire to learn and understand our insurance product offerings

**Minimum Job Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education or equivalent business experience
- Property/Casualty insurance experience
- History of continuing insurance education preferred
