**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects using Quickbooks and other relevant software.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure estimates align with project goals and timelines.
- Negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best possible rates.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary information for accurate estimating.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and contracts for future reference.
- Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members to facilitate effective communication throughout the estimating process.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent project management abilities to oversee multiple estimates simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimates.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
