**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met. You will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and preparing food items as needed. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for the food industry and enjoy working with people.

**Duties**
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and portion sizes.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, equipment, and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions efficiently.
- Handle cash and provide accurate change to customers.
- Assist in restocking supplies as needed throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus.
- Experience with POS systems or cashiering is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
