**Requirements**:
**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Develop supply strategies for assigned commodities in collaboration with Executive Supply Leadership
- Identify, select, and develop suppliers based on the requirements of New Flyer while considering all aspects of supplier performance. This includes managing and improving strategic alliances and relationships with suppliers
- Manage the negotiation of annual pricing, LTAs, and tooling costs with suppliers under the areas of responsibility
- Keep informed of market trends and cost drivers relative to materials and components and make recommendations designed to reduce costs and improve methods for commodities under responsibility
- Assist VP of Strategic Sourcing in the preparation of reports and presentations for Senior Management
- Represent the commodity group in core team meetings established for Program Management of certain contracts or projects
- Responsible to ensure all key controls (ICFR Internal Controls) identified under their area of responsibility are designed and operating as outlined in the internal controls over financial reporting.
- Ensure policies and processes are established and adhered to ensure goals and objectives for all regulatory and legal requirements are met including organizational quality, environmental, health & safety programs.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Engineering and or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five to ten years of experience in global sourcing within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership and negotiating skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers and work well within a team environment.
- Strong business acumen and ability to converse and present professionally and collaborate with all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Experience operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with an ability to adapt to and lead change
