Business Systems Lead

**Join us as a Business System Lead**

At NorLand Limited, we’re seeking a skilled Business System Lead to lead and oversee all critical business systems effectively support business strategies, objectives, processes, and practices. Your leadership will be pivotal in ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Ensure consistency and completeness in knowledge management, including documentation of issues and resolutions.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring user satisfaction and effective communication.
- Develop and implement support processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes.
- Contribute to large, cross-functional ERP implementation projects
- Lead small to medium IT Applications projects and initiatives
- Provide business intelligence, analytics, and reporting services, including organizing and presenting information in various forms such as textual, graphical, and statistical
- Plan, prioritize, and deliver solutions while managing expectations
- Build, strong collaborative relationships with team members across multiple locations and across multiple business units
- Research, analyze and troubleshoot issues logically and effectively within tight timeframes and multiple and/or conflicting priorities
- Participate in and support the organization during audits and other external reporting events
- Perform other duties as assigned

**What we’re looking for**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science / Information Systems or other related degrees.
- Over five (5) years’ recent related experience within a large organization with an emphasis on business systems and reporting or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Extensive experience with complex business systems, preferably in the construction industry

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $120,000.00-$130,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Burnaby, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- MS Office tools: 2 years (preferred)
- Information Technology & Systems: 3 years (preferred)
