**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure proper food handling, preparation, and storage practices are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and equipment.
- Assist in meal preparation for special events or large groups as needed.
- Monitor food inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Stay updated on food safety regulations and implement best practices in the kitchen.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in food service or a kitchen environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
