The South Coast regional team leads and supports the negotiation and implementation of treaty and non-treaty agreements and provides leadership in the development of related reconciliation and engagement strategies with First Nations. The Administrative Assistant provides a wide range of administrative and secretarial support services for the Negotiations and Regional Operations Division within the Ministry of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation. Reporting to a Regional Director, the Administrative Assistant supports staff in delivering on the goals, objectives and performance measures identified in the ministry’s annual Service Plan. The Administrative Assistant plans, develops and coordinates all administrative functions and services including the implementation of operational program policies and procedures, human resources, records management, facilities, and asset management.
