Assistant Store Manager

**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience
- A history of meeting financial objectives and targets in a retail environment
- Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective critical thinking and conflict resolution skills
- Strong Google Suite skills and the ability to quickly learn new computer programs
- A passion for leading and developing others
- Knowledge of the basic principles of management procedures, policies, and standards
- Ability to work during peak grocery-retail hours (i.e. evenings, weekends, and holidays)
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

**Role and Responsibilities**:
- Inventory Management through weekly ordering, record & invoice maintenance, and leading quarterly inventory counts
- Schedule Team Members to ensure that customer needs are met
- Ensure company standards are met and department programs are followed
- Assist the Store Manager with recruiting while maintaining a high-performance work team
- Train, develop, and motivate Team Members
- Resolve customer and team member concerns and complaints, and provide a positive customer experience
- Champion the Freson Bros. Brand and culture by modelling our qualities of Drive, Integrity, and Growth
**Position Details**:
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Location: Stony Plain, Alberta
- Salary: $52,000 - $65,000 / year
