Computershare e3 Filing is one of the nation's largest filing agents providing compliance filing services to Canadian and/or American regulatory authorities.

As an Electronic Filing Professional, you will report to the Service Manager or Acting Team Lead of e3 Filing and support team members in their projects and daily tasks. This is a fast pace environment with shifting priorities. This position is for someone who has excellent communication and enjoys doing research to solve problems. You will also be able to have a team to collaborate with, as well as some autonomy as you work with an upbeat and eager attitude.

It’s okay if you don’t know everything about the Electronic Filing Professional position at Computershare. As-long-as you have the acumen for this position, Computershare will engage you with an on the job approach to training.

Some of your key responsibilities will include

  • Responsible for all communication and documents received from clients
  • Review contents for format, accuracy, relevance, to determine the type of filing and/or processing required
  • Ensuring that all (filing) requests are completed within the timeframe set out by regulatory authorities and/or as per standard agreements
  • Ensure that all applicable fees are charged and processed accordingly
  • To maintain client profiles up-to-date across all systems
  • To collaborate with staff in developing and maintaining excellent client relations
  • To generate and produce timely reports as necessary
  • To request, receive and process funds from clients, other departments and request transfers
  • To perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager or Acting Team Lead
  • To keep up-to-date with most recent processes and industry standard via on-going training and evaluations
  • Execute small and large projects and perform minor project management activities when assigned.
  • Development and maintenance of client accounts including keeping database records up-to-date
  • Pre-filing and proactive client communication and activities

As you can see, having great attention to detail is important. Supporting a core process isn’t an easy job, so being able to think independently when needed, problem solve, and work quickly are some key skills that you’ll need for this role.

Other key skills required for the role include

  • Ability to Prioritize workload
  • Able to multitask and pay attention to the details
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years experience in an office environment or equivalent in the public company industry is preferred
