**Job Summary**

**Duties**

- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for cash handling and transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including the preparation and serving stations.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all food and beverage items served.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring correct change is provided to customers.
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote repeat business.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred, particularly in a café or restaurant setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems is beneficial for efficient transaction processing.
- Basic math skills are essential for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is important for maintaining health standards in food handling.
- Experience in food preparation or cashiering is a plus but not required; we provide training for all new hires.
