Our products include debt and equity financing, mergers & acquisitions, corporate banking, institutional equity sales, trading and research, fixed income products, derivatives, energy, foreign exchange, and precious & metals. We also cross-sell the full range of wholesale products and services offered by the Scotiabank Group. **Purpose** **Accountabilities** - Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. - Manages day-to-day operations. Assigning, reviewing and releasing transactions. - Provides guidance, technical, transactional, and compliance direction to team members on specific matters related to supply chain finance services business - Exhibits ample understanding of all the Supply Chain Finance facility structures and solid knowledge of various banks systems: BESS, Input Facility, CorrRisk, CGI-T360, Prime Revenue, ACBS, Scotia Connect, etc. - Assists Senior Manager in various team-related tasks, resolution of exception items and provide back-up support during times of vacations, absences, etc. - Understands how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. - Creates an environment in which his/her team pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct. - Builds a high performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment; communicating vison/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team. **Requirements**: - University Undergraduate Degree in Accounting, Finance or business-related studies or equivalent. - Expert knowledge of Supply Chain Finance products and services - Strong working knowledge of Bank’s AML and Compliance policies - Advance computer skills, particularly MS Office Suite - Excel, Access, Word, Power Point, etc. - Strong leadership skills, superior customer service focus, communication, problem solving, and team building skills **Working Conditions** - Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
