Baker

Old Town Bakery is a small but mighty bakery located in the heart of Ladysmith. We focus on providing quality, affordable, from scratch baking reminiscent of Grandma's treats. We produce a variety of breads, squares, pies & treats and are largely recognized for our famous cinnamon buns.
Currently we are seeking a baker to join our team. This position offers flexibility and a wide range of variable tasks. It would be perfectly suited to a student baker or individual who is looking to add some extra working hours to their schedule.
Baking experience/schooling is considered an asset but not a requirement as we are willing to train the right individual.

**Duties Include**:

- Mixing and shaping doughs
- Making tarts, quick breads, custard & mousse
- Scaling
- Cake mixing and icing
- Assisting with general kitchen prep and cleanup

**Requirements include**:

- Fun, positive attitude
- Proven ability to multitask
- Willingness to learn and open to constructive feedback
- Must be able to carry/lift 50 lb of weight.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
