What we are looking for from you

Ideally, you are a 3rd to 5th-year apprentice looking to gain exceptional job skills and experience with an established leader in the electrical field.

**Please note that this position requires an immediate start date**

**Compensation will be based on experience and skill sets**

**Responsibilities**

  • Accurately complete work orders and assigned tasks
  • Work with journeymen, fellow apprentices, office staff, and customers to complete projects
  • Identify, troubleshoot and present technical issues in a clear and concise manner
  • Installation/integration of electrical systems to meet electrical safety standards
  • Solid knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Code
  • Install and connect power supply wiring, cables, conduit, and electrical apparatus for machines or equipment in new and existing buildings
  • Operate tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Valid Ontario driver's license
  • 3 - 5 years working as an apprentice
  • Organization/planning abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Tenacity and the determination to get things done in a timely manner
  • Self-sufficient, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Safety certifications (WAH, WHMIS, Workers Health & Safety)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 44 per week
