Class Az Tanker Driver

Clean Harbors Chambly, QC location is looking for a Regional Class AZ Tanker Driver to join their safety conscious team Our Class AZ Drivers are responsible for running a route from Chambly, QC to Sarnia, ON including cross-border disposal sites, running 3540 to 3862 kilometers a week. This position requires traveling away from home 4-5 days at a time.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
- Operates tractor trailer tanker units
- Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads from Safety-Kleen/Clean Harbor branches and customers and transports to our refinery centers
- Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
- Placards vehicle in accordance with Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
- Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

**Qualifications**:

- Class AZ CDL Required
- Travel away from home up to 4-5 days per week
- 12+ months Class AZ experience Required
- 3+ months Tanker experience Required
- Ability to work from heights Required
- Ability to lift and carry hoses and equipment weighing up to 50lbs
- Ability to drive a manual transmission (10, 13, 18 speed) Required
- Valid Canadian Passport Required
- Must possess FAST card
- Must be willing to perform trips cross border to the US
- Must be fluent in English to accomplish tasks required in the USA
