Participate in all store activities and in the co-ordination of activities that are designed to improve profitability by optimizing sales and reducing costs and expenses. Support the manager in all aspects of work: sales, staff management, inventory control and report analysis.
**Key Competencies**:

Ability to maintain a good working atmosphere
**Main Responsibilities are**:
Ensure that sufficient quantities of inventory are on hand to meet immediate and short-term needs
Ensure the merchandising is done correctly and coordinate publicity events
Consult the manager on all matters involving hiring, training and promotion of store personnel
Read and understand management reports and suggest the appropriate actions
Establish priorities and lists of daily tasks for employees and motivate the team to maintain good team spirit

**Qualifications**:
2 to 3 years experience in retail sales environment
Experience at increasing levels of responsibility required
Innovate and position self as leader in management of the store
Highly developed flair for communication
