**Cost Consultant**

Our team is expert in completing turnkey services in their fields which include sustainability, building design, civil and industrial engineering, building consulting, appraisal and project support as well as environmental and laboratory services.

With 5 locations across Canada and 10 more satellite offices, we are passionate about working with our clients to find solutions that meet the needs of our communities today and prepare for the needs of tomorrow.

**What you will do**
- Perform site inspections, quantity surveying, measuring, specifications, quantifying, and pricing of various structures,
- Prepare full-cost estimates on conceptual, design-build or general tender work,
- Prepare cost estimations for various construction projects according to project specifics, including establishing unit costs, labour rates, productivity factors and location impacts,
- Produce specification bid documents, catastrophe valuations, narrative reports, and conflict resolution services,
- Cost control auditing for restoration and reconstruction projects; and construction contract management,
- Detailed replacement costs and actual cash value valuations on various complex residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

**What you will bring**
- Demonstrated competency in the following areas: relationship building, accountability, results orientated, estimating, scoping and report writing
- A valid driver’s permit and reliable vehicle
- Ability to travel on short notice

**Salary**: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Commercial construction: 1 year (required)
- Construction estimating: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (required)
