**Job Title**: Journeyman/Woman Ironworker
**Location**: Edmonton Area, Alberta (projects throughout Alberta)
**Employment Type**: Full-Time, Permanent
**Hours**: 40-50 hours per week
**Pay**: $43-$47/hour, depending on experience

**Duties**
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Assemble, install, and secure structural and reinforcing steel.
- Perform rigging and safely lift heavy materials using cranes and hoists.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and standard ironworking equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and meets quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.

**Requirements**:

- Must hold a valid Journeyman Certificate (Red Seal preferred) in Ironworking.
- Proven experience as an ironworker or in a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and standard ironworking equipment.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Physically able to perform labor-intensive tasks and work at heights.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation is an asset.
