Equipment Salesperson

McCabe Tractor Sales is a full-service agriculture and construction equipment dealership, carrying multiple ag. and construction brands and product types. Our goal is to provide exceptional service to the farming, construction and residential customer. Our commitment to great customer service starts with the great people on our team. As an **Equipment Sales** person you will represent McCabe Tractor Sales in supporting our existing customers and establishing new customer relationships and generating and closing sales opportunities, within a defined sales territory.

**SUMMARY OF POSITION**:

- Meet with existing and new accounts for new business opportunities
- Provide exceptional, value add service to our customers, in line with their business needs
- Product demonstrations
- Prepares timely and accurate sales reports, quotes and orders
- Responsible to know product availability, use, benefits and pricing structures and regular communication with product representatives and suppliers.
- Attends vendor dealer meetings in order to stay current on new equipment product design changes/updates, and become a product specialist on equipment
- Coordinate with Service and Parts team on scheduling installations, tracking orders and maintaining inventories

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- A passion for agriculture
- Strong customer service, and consultative selling skills
- Agriculture and construction equipment experience (tractors, combines, planters,)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong technical aptitude to know the equipment and be able to operate it
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office), experience with parts systems an asset
- Hands-on experience with modern agricultural equipment and practices
- Strong technical aptitude with ability to operate and demonstrate equipment
- Post-secondary education in agriculture-related field or equivalent industry experience, experience in modern farming equipment and farming practices that add value to our customers

Work Location:

- Travel, and 708 Centreline Road, Lindsay

Schedule:

- Core business hours, with weekend and evenings as required
