We are a modern, professional and well established community eye care clinic. We have been providing quality eyecare for over 40 years and we value long term team members. This is a multifaceted role with a mixture of duties to fill your day.

Some Responsibilities include:

- Greeting patients upon arrival and assisting with patient flow within the office
- Assist patients in selecting and fitting the perfect eyewear based on their prescription and style preferences
- Take accurate measurements
- Interpret prescriptions written by optometrists or ophthalmologists
- Educate patients on proper eyewear care and maintenance
- Dispense, adjust and repair eyewear with care
- Process orders for eyewear, including frame selection, lens customization, and order tracking
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or issues to achieve practice satisfaction
- Ordering and dispensing contact lenses
- Being an active member of the Optical Team, making decisions that allow for growth
- Inventory Management
- Purchasing Products

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a licensed optician or in a similar role
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems is a plus
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures and insurance claims processing is beneficial
- Proficiency in retail math for calculating pricing, discounts, and sales tax
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements, order processing and maintaining clinical cleanliness standards.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
