You'll oversee the planning, operation, and maintenance of roads infrastructure, working closely with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to shape Cochrane’s transportation future.

What You'll Do
**As Manager, Roads Services, you will**:
- Lead and inspire the Roads team, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely maintenance of asphalt, gravel, and concrete surfaces, as well as traffic control devices
- Manage long and short term operational planning and capital improvements
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost management for roads operations
- Implement and champion the Town’s health and safety programs
- Work collaboratively across departments to enhance Cochrane’s transportation systems and respond to resident needs
- Provide technical leadership in road design, construction, and traffic management
Who You Are
**You are a dynamic, solution-oriented leader who brings**:
- A degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering (CET, P.Eng., or PMP are strong assets). An alternative combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
- 7+ years of related experience, including leadership in road operations or infrastructure management (municipal experience preferred)
- Expertise in road construction, design standards (TAC, CSA), and traffic systems
- Strong budgeting, project management, and communication skills
- A people-first approach, with a passion for building high-performing teams

This position pays between $127,207 and $135,897 per year.
