**Position Summary**

JVC Group is currently looking for an experienced **Class 1 and 3 operator's **to join our team. This position is a full time, long term role with a stable and consistent schedule in the local Edmonton area. The **Class 1 and 3 operator's **must be able perform safe operation of specialized equipment with proper understanding of dealing with dangerous goods and all necessary paperwork involved. They must demonstrate a positive attitude with fellow workers and clients and ensure all equipment is kept clean, properly maintained, and ready for work.

Job type: Full Time

Compensation: $28 to $36 per hour

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- H2S Alive
- CSTS 0.9 (Construction Safety Training Systems)
- Standard - Intermediate First Aid AED/CPR
- Valid Class 1 and/or Class 3 drivers license, with clean driving abstract
- Confined Space Entry/Monitor, Ground Disturbance and Fall Protection is an asset.

**Education and Experience**
- 2 + years of Vacuum truck / Tank truck operator experience.
- Experience in dangerous goods hauling and handling is necessary.
- Heavy equipment experience (Dozer, Excavator, Grader, loader, Skid steer, Tractor)
- Ability to assist and perform repairs and maintenance duties (on-road and off-road equipment).

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Experience with MS Office Suite (Must be able utilize a computer/tablet and other technology applicable to the job. Able to complete daily safety paperwork on phone app)
- Capable of setting and managing priorities to meet all deadlines
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
