**Position**: Night Crew Cleaner

**Location**: Woodgrove Centre, Nanaimo BC

**Shift**: Nights, 5 days per week

**Wages**: $17/hour

**About the role**:
We are looking for cleaners to join our team at Nanaimo location. The Cleaner will be responsible for keeping the mall area in clean and orderly condition. This is a part time opportunity and can be converted into full time position based on the performance. Alpine is proud of the essential service we provide, keeping communities safe and sanitized

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming
- Cleaning and scrubbing building common areas, hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, kitchen etc.
- Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis
- Spot cleaning walls, ceilings, glass/window cleaning, blinds, partitions, light switches & window sills
- Enhanced cleaning as per work orders when requested
- Additional tasks assigned by Manager

**You have**:

- Motivation and a willingness to work and learn
- Have the driver license and a vehicle
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Strong time management skills in order to ensure all work is completed by the end of shift
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine
- Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset
- Cleaning experience is considered an asset, but not required
