**Job Title: Postsecondary Instructor**
**Work Location**:Hybrid (2 days/week in office; 3 days/week working from home)
**Job Type & Duration**:Full-Time
**Salary and Grade**:Grade 5, $72,459 - $88,561
**Hour of Work**: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
**Number of Positions Open**: 2
**Reports to**:Post-Secondary Director
**Major Responsibilities**:
To assess, design, deliver and evaluate various postsecondary initiatives, and ensure their effectiveness in supporting Friendship Centres, urban Indigenous communities, the aims of the OFIFC and the development of the Original Peoples Learning Centre (OPLC).
**Key Qualifications**:
- Strong facilitation and instruction skills with an ability to manage group dynamics
- Advanced writing abilities for curriculum development, reports, and proposals
- Proficiency using learning technologies. i.e., Learning Management System (LMS)
- Strong knowledge and sensitivity to Indigenous issues, communities, values, traditions, cultural norms and practices related to urban Indigenous knowledge transfer
- Proven ability to incorporate Indigenous pedagogies, worldviews, and trauma-informed approaches into curriculum design, development, and delivery
**You must also have**:
- Post-secondary education in Indigenous studies, Education, Social Science, or related discipline combined with a minimum 3 years of instructional experience.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a participant driven trainer
- Experience working within an Indigenous community
