**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Outreach**: Proactively engage with both potential and existing customers to drive sales and strengthen customer relationships. Build and expand relationships through regular communication and site visits.
- **Customer Visits**: Conduct in-person client meetings across Montreal and Quebec to provide product consultations, discuss solutions, and identify new business opportunities.
- **Territory Management**: Manage and grow the assigned sales territory with a focus on Montreal but covering other regions of Quebec as needed. Identify opportunities to increase market share and ensure full territory coverage.
- **Sales Growth**: Drive business development through cold calling, lead generation, networking, and on-site meetings to expand the customer base in Quebec.
- **Relationship Building**: Develop strong, lasting relationships with current and prospective customers by offering tailored solutions that address their specific needs.
- **Achieve Sales Targets**: Meet and exceed sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) set by management.
- **CRM Management**: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities using the company’s CRM system.
- **Quotes and Proposals**: Handle customer inquiries, prepare quotes, and follow up on leads to close sales opportunities.
- **Customer Retention**: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing timely follow-up and support to maintain strong relationships and repeat business.

**Qualifications**:

- **Bilingual (English/French)**: Fluency in both languages is required for this position.
- **Previous Sales Experience**: Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the scientific or laboratory industry.
- **Travel-Ready**: Willingness to travel across Quebec, with a strong focus on Montreal (minimum 50% travel required) some overnight travel might be required within the province of Quebec.
- **Self-Motivated & Organized**: Ability to work independently, manage a territory, prioritize tasks, and follow up with customers effectively.
- **Goal-Oriented**: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and drive performance.
- **Excellent Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to listen to customer needs and provide effective solutions.
- **CRM Proficiency**: Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems for tracking sales and customer interactions.
- **Science Background (Asset)**: A degree in science or a related field is an asset.

**Compensation**:

- **Base Salary**: Competitive base salary based on experience.
- **Commission**: Performance-based commission structure tied to sales results.

**Work Environment**:

- **Field-Based Position**: Primarily based in Montreal, with regular travel to other parts of Quebec for customer visits.
- **Schedule**: Monday to Friday, with flexibility based on customer needs.

Pay: From $45,100.00 per year
