**Duties**:

- Analyze project plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine project requirements
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop comprehensive project proposals
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project scope
- Research and evaluate potential suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and availability
- Negotiate pricing with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids
- Utilize construction estimating software such as Planswift, Autocad and Bluebeam and to streamline the estimation process
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project documentation
- Assist in project management activities as needed

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in construction estimating, preferably in commercial or residential construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Proficiency in using construction estimating software such as Planswift and Bluebeam
- Excellent mathematical skills for accurate calculations and pricing analysis
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, vendors.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
