**Overview** JIMMY JOHN'S SANDWICHES
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of food preparation, service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including Micros POS, for efficient order processing.
- Manage cash handling accurately while ensuring proper transaction procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas to meet health and safety regulations.
- Assist with food handling and storage to ensure freshness and compliance with food safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience for customers.

**Skills**
- Strong background in food preparation and handling within the food industry.
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations.
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable.
