**Essential Skills**:

- Proven experience as a Desktop Application Automation Engineer or similar role.
- Experience with desktop based automation tools such as UFT, automation anywhere, or similar.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Use automation tools and scripting languages to automate repetitive tasks.
- Identify, analyze, and report issues found during testing.
- Collaborate with the team to improve the overall testing process.
- Document test cases, outcomes, and other relevant information.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON
