_Do you have experience in operating fabricating machines to cut and bend sheet metal?_
- Are you skilled in welding to join sheet metal parts?_
- Do you possess a valid driver's license?_

The Sheet Metal Worker will fabricate, assemble, and repair sheet metal products and equipment, such as ducts, control boxes and sheet metal fittings. Work may involve any of the following: setting up and operating fabricating machines to cut and bend sheet metal; shaping metal over anvils, blocks, or forms. Operating welding equipment to join sheet metal parts.
- Operate forming, shearing, cutting and punch equipment
- Operate light metalworking machines
- Use of sheet metal hand tools
- Organize tools and materials as needed
- Read engineering and architectural drawings, sketches and work specifications to be performed, and lay out, measure and mark sheet metal according to drawings or templates.
- Operate forklift to move materials as needed
- Keep their working area clean and tidy
- Provide job site support as needed
- Other duties as deemed necessary by Management

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post-Secondary Education is _preferred_
- 1-2 years’ experience as Sheet metal work experience is _preferred_
- Must possess strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and work ethic
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision in a busy environment; as well as ability to work within a team
- Has a strong focus on quality and detail
- Works to high degree of safety standards and abides to safety procedures
- Highly motivated and the able to perform work that is of high quality
- Proficiency in both written and verbal English is required

Providing product to various industries including but not limited to the HVAC industry. We use modern computerized equipment, sheet metal forming tools and various welding equipment. Our facility specializes in metal working with carbon steel, galvanized, stainless, aluminum and other specialty steels.
