**Job Title**: Home Maker

**Salary**:$21.37 - $24.62
**Contract**: Fulltime, Permanent
**Hours**: Mon - Fri (35 hrs)
**Location**: Ladysmith, BC

**About The Role**

Reporting to the Health Manager, Homemaker works with the other members of the Home to provide care to elders, disabled and other so they continue to live in their home. The care includes activities identified as a result of client assessment that will help meet the needs of the client. This may include personal care, providing meals, cleaning and other housekeeping functions and performs other duties as directed by the supervisor. The Homemaker will ensure all services are provided in a caring and respectful way in keeping with relative policies and procedures and Stz’uminus First Nation Home Care Standards.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of Grade 12 education
- Formal training and/or education in Janitorial and / or cooking an asset
- WHMIS certificate
- Must have driver’s license
- Residence in the Stz’uminus First Nation community and knowledge of local culture and language preferred.

The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full time equivalent hours.
