Edmonton, Canada Summit Valve and Controls Inc. Full time

Hello

My name is Talisha. I manage the recruiting at Summit Valve and Controls and **We are expanding** Summit Valve is hiring a Warehouse Administrator to join our team.

To be successful in the role you
- Need a keen eye for detail
- Thrive in routine
- Be organized and diligent
- Take pride in your work
- Have critical thinking skills
- Work well under a high workload

This is an entry-level position. Please note, this is an on-site job. It's a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a growing organization. This role is a mix of hands-on (packaging valves, occasionally operating forklift, assisting shipping and receiving, etc.) and computer-focused responsibilities; the best chance to learn a lot of new things. Come hang out with us in our shiny new shop

You may have noticed that our job postings are a bit... unique. We do this on purpose. One, because at Summit we do things differently. Two, well, just like you want to stand out to us, we want to stand out to you. We are looking for an extraordinary **friendly, hard-working,** like-minded individual to join our unique and driven team.

At Summit we work with multiple industries from oil and gas, mining, and wastewater. What makes us unique? We care, a lot We care about our Customers, Employees, Vendors, and Product. Providing exceptional service and value is really important. Which means we have to have high expectations, about everything. From our team, we expect everyone to take pride in their work and ownership of their tasks. We rely on each member of the team to do their part. We also work really well together, coming together to bring forward creative and innovative ideas.
- A basic understanding and ability to use computers
- A friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor
- A willingness to learn and step up to new challenges
- The ability to read, write, and speak English
- A drive to achieve - what can I say? We like to win

What can you expect from us? In our business we are always changing. We are growing and adapting to new people, new customer needs, technologies, expanding territories and product lines, and advances in business. We expect that these changes bring new challenges and growth opportunities for you as well We deal with these challenges by talking about them, brainstorming and working together to get through it. I know everybody says this but, well and truly, we need Employees who care; particularly in this role. It is a challenging work environment with a lot of rewarding features. We need people with a stick-to-it-iveness, willing to stick with us, and help contribute to the success of the Company. Without our team, there is no us.

Working at Summit Valve and Controls means:

- **An opportunity** to be an active part of what’s going on. The Managers are right there, working with the Employees, every day. The President knows everybody’s name. Each person is here working toward the same goal. We encourage our Team Members to be a part of the conversation.
- **Growth.** Personal growth, professional growth, corporate growth, you name it, we got it Our goal is to ensure the right people are in the right chairs doing a job they enjoy.
- A really **great team**. OK, OK, I know everybody says this but hear me out. It’s true and it’s important. We’re a community. Everybody is responsible for mowing their own lawn, the neighbor helps water your plants when you’re on holidays, and at the end of the day, it’s just a nice place to live.
- A mutually **respectful and beneficial relationship** between Employee and Company. What else can we say about that? We’re in this together.
- **Fun** The motto is simple, work hard and have fun while doing it (and somebody usually brings food)

We appreciate your time and thank you for considering working with Summit Valve.

Best Regards,

Talisha
