**The Opportunity**

Our **Guelph, ON** Branch is looking for a **Field Service Technician I** The **Field Service Technician **is associated with hazardous waste clean up, site remediation, equipment decontamination and the handling of hazardous materials.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
- Operates light and heavy equipment including, but not limited to: pumps, vacuum trucks, and equipment, oil spill boom, generators, bobcats, ect;
- Performs emergency response activities including, but not limited to chemical and water spills, etiological and biological contamination, tank cleaning, equipment decontamination;
- Handles various hand tools and powered industrial tools, including pressure washers and saws;
**Qualifications**
- High School diploma preferred;
- Previous related field labour/hazardous waste removal experience;
- Ability to travel; this position requires 40% travel for extended periods;
