Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and delivering a positive experience for our patients.

**Duties**:

- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using our phone system
- Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims
- Collect and record patient information, including medical history and personal details
- Maintain electronic medical records and update patient files as needed
- Assist with billing and payment processing
- Coordinate with dental hygienists, assistants, and dentists to ensure efficient patient flow
- Provide information to patients regarding dental procedures, treatments, and post-operative care
- Manage office supplies and inventory
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a dental office or similar administrative role is preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems, such as Dentrix or similar software
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
