Viva Kids is looking for energetic, friendly and reliable people to join our team. We are looking for educators to fill positions on a part-time or on-call basis. If you have experience with young children and enjoy working in a team environment, we would love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times
- Keep records of children's progress, routines, and any incidents that occur

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working with children in a caregiving role
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to engage and educate children through creative activities
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
- Must be available to work between the hours of 7:30 a.m. 6:00 p.m, Monday to Friday.
- Must have an understanding of Childcare policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate ability to form strong, trusting relationships quickly with children, parents and staff.
- Be comfortable working within a range of ages. Infant, Toddler and Preschool.
- Ability to learn and follow routines quickly and effectively.
- Knowledge of How Does Learning Happen?
- Must have Standard First Aid and CPR-Level C.

Pay: $19.20-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
