Milani Plumbing, 5526 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC. Vancouver’s largest plumbing service company is seeking experienced electrical apprenticeships. This is a paid apprentice position.

Our company’s customer base is continuing to grow and expand and we are experiencing an increase in service calls for residential electrical services. We have several positions available immediately to meet the increasing demand for our loyal customers. We are looking for outgoing and dependable individuals to help meet the needs of our customers. We are looking to fill this position immediately

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Electrician. In this role, you will assist experienced electricians in various electrical projects, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in the field. This is a great opportunity to start your career in the electrical industry and develop valuable skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit
- Pull wire through conduit and terminate connections
- Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues and making necessary repairs
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations
- Keep work area clean and organized

**Skills**:

- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings
- Knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment used in the trade
- Basic understanding of low voltage systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills

**Requirements**:

- Completion of an apprenticeship program or enrollment in a recognized apprenticeship program
- Valid driver's license with a clean abstract
