**_The Role_**

Under the supervision of the Legislative Officer
- City Clerk, the Legislation and Policy Analyst will be responsible for research and analyzing complex organizational, regulatory and legal/policy issues related to municipal governance. The student will be responsible for preparing information notes and making recommendations to senior management and members of council.

Student at a recognized university completing a degree program with a focus on law or political science (equivalencies may be considered). Applicants must provide proof of returning to full-time studies in the Fall.
