You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our continued compliance with industry standards and government regulations and you’ll be responsible and overseeing and managing the National Safety Code (NSC) compliance program within Ledcor Highways. You will work closely with operations, leadership, as well as internal and external stakeholders to ensure our operations align with NSC guidelines and regulations, as well as promote a culture of safety. Your primary focus will be on maintaining, monitoring, and continuously improving our compliance processes and reporting.**Essential Responsibilities**
- Support the Ledcor NSC and CVOR program by performing administrative duties required to ensure compliance:

- Uphold the Ledcor NSC Compliance Manuals, Administrative Manuals, CMS procedures.
- Work with project teams and the Ledcor compliance manager to improve NSC processes and procedures.
- Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance levels and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the project teams and the Ledcor compliance team to ensure compliance requirements are met.
- Review and track driver, equipment, permit, and facility documentation using Ledcor systems.
- Develop specialized knowledge on transportation compliance:

- Review and understand the Ledcor NSC Compliance and Administrative Manuals.
- Keep apprised of NSC regulations, legislation, rules, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate, support and deliver NSC compliance training sessions for employees, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of safety protocols and guidelines. Establish training plans and resources to keep the workforce informed about updates in NSC regulations.
- Participate in corporate audits, as well as follow-up action plans.
- Prepare regular compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, including audit findings and corrective action plans.
- Manage and organize all relevant compliance documentation for easy access and reference.
- Identify opportunities to enhance compliance processes and streamline procedures.
- Implement improvements to mitigate risks and enhance safety practices across the organization.
- A portion of the role will be performing other project administration duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Preferably at least 2 years' experience in general administrative duties or a similar role.
- Experience with JD Edwards and SharePoint is an asset.
- Experience with NSC, CVOR, fleets, health, safety, environmental or quality is an asset.
- Experience with use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, research, and solve problems.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to exceptional Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn new skills and develop competency in the unique aspects of the highway maintenance industry
- Effective communication skills, confident interacting with key contacts in verbal, written and electronic form, including ability to establish and follow up expectations through honest, authentic and transparent processes.
