We're looking for you to join our team as a Conference Floor Coordinator in Toronto, ON

As the Conference Floor Coordinator, you will be overseeing daily operations of the conference floor and practice floor meeting rooms by confirming the quality of food and beverage items and maintaining standards in services and facilities to ensure our client's satisfaction. You will collaborate with admins and event planners to review event details, food orders, event agendas, decoration details, rentals, staffing, and any other key factors that guarantee a successful meeting or event, including maintaining effective relationships with new and existing vendors.

**More of your responsibilities include**:

- Responsible for overseeing the full life cycle of meetings and events
- Resolve conflicts with meeting room space on the conference floor and ensure the meeting room booking system is integrated with corresponding meeting and event venues
- Obtain quotes from vendors as well as code and approve invoices
- Monitor timing for food to be placed in meeting rooms and when possible, being present in the conference floor servery when food arrives
- Responsible for the maintenance of the conference floor and upholding best practices & protocols for safe working environments
- Collaborate with Toronto North Office (TNO) Conference Floor on reporting on operations and KPI's
- Reconcile venue charges, such as invoicing and credit card payments
- At times, business needs arise, and employees are required and agree to work beyond their normal work day or work week to fulfill the accountabilities required for their job. Likewise, people need extra time to devote to personal matters, and our approach to flexibility provides for this._

- Strong oral/written communication skills
- Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certification in Food Management or a related field
- Relevant work experience with at least 2 years of Food & Beverage experience
- Excellent leadership skills, able to develop teams and individuals
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Creative, passionate, and eager to set and accomplish personal goals
- Possesses excellent problem-solving skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple competing priorities
