**What you’ll do**:
As the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, you’ll be part of a united team and responsible for leading nearly 75 talented front-of-house artisans, supported by a team of dedicated leaders. Your primary focus will be maintaining high guest service standards aligned with the Nordik Group’s values. Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, you’ll collaborate closely on various projects and help implement new initiatives to continuously enhance the guest experience.

Our food & beverage services enrich and elevate the experience for our 225,000 guests annually. With five unique dining outlets (Le Resto, Lounge, Mezz Café, Biergarden, and The Shack), our mission is to extend the wellness ritual—not only by serving quality products but also through exceptional service and memorable experiences, a source of pride for over 20 years.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Team Management**:

- Supervise, train, and motivate a team of leaders who, in turn, support around 75 team members across various roles (servers, hosts/hostesses, bartenders, bussers, etc.);
- Ensure effective distribution of responsibilities within the team;
- Encourage both professional and personal development among team members;
- Maintain a positive, collaborative, and wellness-focused work environment.

**Guest Service Excellence**:

- Ensure all guests receive flawless service and a unique experience;
- Handle guest issues or complaints professionally and promptly;
- Enforce service standards regarding quality, presentation, and hospitality.

**Operations Management**:

- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Director to plan and oversee daily operations;
- Ensure timely service and adherence to quality standards;
- Manage setup and upkeep of all dining areas;
- Ensure compliance with alcohol service laws, hygiene, food safety, and health & safety regulations;
- Manage guest-related issues and ensure proper follow-up;
- Optimize resources (staffing, inventory, equipment) and control departmental costs.

**Planning & Coordination**:

- Develop special events and initiatives to enrich the dining experience;
- Actively contribute to the implementation of new initiatives, projects, products, and services to improve the experience for both Artisans and guests;
- Collaborate with the Chef in daily operations to facilitate inter-departmental communication;
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure service consistency.

**Performance Monitoring**:

- Analyze team and department performance using KPIs and implement action plans to maximize revenue while controlling costs and maintaining guest experience quality;
- Contribute to continuous process improvement;
- Support budget planning.

**To succeed in this role, you’ll need**:

- At least 5 years of experience managing service teams in a multi-outlet environment;
- Bilingualism in French and English is mandatory (about 75% of our clientele is English-speaking);
- Significant experience in hospitality (as a server, bartender, or similar role) is a strong asset;
- Valid MAPAQ certification (an asset);
- Up-to-date Action Service or Smart Serve certification (an asset);
- Proficiency with technology including POS configuration and Lightspeed (an asset).

**Work Schedule**:
