Now, we’re looking for a **Cafe Barista** to join our team and help us serve up some seriously good coffee.

**Job Summary**
- Craft espresso-based drinks, specialty lattes, and tea beverages with a focus on quality and consistency
- Share your love of coffee with our customers
- Assist with light food prep, including serving pastries, cakes, and desserts
- Keep the bar and cafe area clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Educate customers about our menu, including seasonal specials and signature treats
- Manage orders efficiently, whether it’s a quick grab-and-go or a sit-down coffee moment
- Handle cash, card, and mobile payments with a smile
- Support the team with opening and closing tasks as needed
- Think quickly to resolve any unexpected issues
- Ensuring front of house cleanliness, including washing dishes, mopping and sweeping
- Raises are common for those who are self-motivated, eager to learn, take initiative, like challenges, and perform well under pressure

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**
- Previous barista or specialty coffee experience preferred, but not required
- Strong multitasking and communication skills
- Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused
- Attention to detail — you know a flat white from a latte and why crema matters
- Ability to stay cool under pressure during the morning rush
- Passion for coffee, food, and creating memorable customer experiences
- Basic latte art skills a plus (or a willingness to learn)
- Able to work quickly and efficiently, with a sense of urgency
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Able to learn quickly, follow directions, work clean, and be organized
- Have a bright, positive attitude and a friendly, tidy image
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Have a sense of tidiness/hygienic standards
- Team Player
- Must be able to work on weekends / holidays (if needed)
- Must have a keen eye for quality assurance
- Must be able to lift at least 20kg

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
