**Overview**

**Duties**
- Available Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4:20-6:10 to help Grades 4-6 children with math at 600 Cambridge Street, Winnipeg.
- Circulating the class to help individual children as they work on math problems.
- Marking homework questions and recording grades.
- Additional marking after class hours, as required.
- Substituting for the Head Teacher to deliver lessons in the event of illness.
- Set up prior to class and clean up after class.
- Various other reasonable duties assigned by the supervisor or program directors.

**Skills**
- Minimum of two university-level math and/or statistics courses with very good grades. (List math courses taken and grades received in your resume.)
- Passionate about math.
- Hard working, well organized, reliable, enthusiastic, enjoy working with children.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Patience and empathy when working with children.
- Available from September, 2024 - April 18, 2025.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 8 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- University Math: 1 year (preferred)
