**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various roofing systems including, 2-Ply SBS, 4-Ply BUR, Single Ply Systems, Steep Slope Roof Systems, Metal Roof Systems, etc.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for repairs and installations.
- Build and install structures as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Read blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks related to equipment installation or removal.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools are stored properly after use.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.

**Requirements**:

- Inter-Provincial Red Seal Roofer/Water proofer/Damp proofer OR completion of the level 2 apprenticeship program with the ability to complete level 3 and obtain a Red Seal endorsement within 1.5 years time.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Valid Driver License with a clean drivers abstract
- Strong carpentry skills with the ability to build structures as required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 50 pounds) as needed.
- Strong knowledge of leak investigation and repairs, full understanding of industry and manufacturers repair specifications.
- Competence in blueprint reading for accurate project execution.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- A minimum of a two-year commitment with a longer term commitment preferred

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
