**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food preparation, cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and have a passion for the food industry.

**Duties**
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, including processing payments and providing change.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, kitchen equipment, and dining space in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
- Adhere to all food handling procedures and safety guidelines.

**Skills**
- Experience in food preparation and service within a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred.
- Proficient in operating POS systems, particularly Micros POS.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
