The Edge Restaurant & Bar seeks a full-time hands-on performer to fulfill the position Front of House Manager. Must be positive, energetic an possess strong social and motivational skills to achieve sales, profitability, and service goals. Strong customer focus and mentorship capabilities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Participate in the recruitment and selection of staff.
- Training of staff and implementing staff training manuals
- Shift scheduling and WTR monitoring.
- Assist in managing feedback and rewards and to be available to mentor staff and supervisors.
- Organize, direct, and deliver a memorable guest experience and manage issues should they arise.
- Assist in monitoring revenues, labour, and expenses.
- Assist in managing liquor purchases, controls, and inventory.
- Ensure that cashing out procedures are strictly adhered to, and staff follow procedures.
- Work with the events team to execute and deliver on events and weddings.
- Comply and ensure staff comply with health and safety, fire, and liquor licensing requirements.
- Ensure cleanliness of the facility and staff presentation.
- Comply with local liquor licensing laws.
- Assist in implementing a marketing strategy and calendar of events.
- Maximize communication with Kitchen and FOH teams.
- Resolve customer complaints, as well as any internal conflict amongst staff.
- Visible customer service, ability to step into any position to assist.
- Other duties as required.
- Serving and Bartending where needed

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Some post-secondary education preferred, _ specifically in the Tourism or Food and Beverage
- Minimum 2 years' experience in leadership experience with a food and beverage setting
- Effective communication and leadership
- Flexibility and adaptability '
- Conflict resolution
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of the products, services, sector, industry, and local area
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
- Serving It Right and FOODSAFE 1
- Able to work weekends and late night

Hours:

- Full-Time Year-Round Position
- Some weekend work.
- Variable hours

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
