**We are looking for a Commercial Insurance Broker (Client Service Representative) to join our SURETY team in our Toronto office**

As a Commercial Insurance Broker (Client Service Representative), you will be responsible to maintain and service a profitable book of business based upon the company’s objectives and individual business plans.

**Your Day as a Client Service Representative**
- Request and follow up with insurers and/or clients for outstanding information, endorsements, or policy documentation.
- Prepare proposals for renewals and new business.
- Respond to telephone calls and written inquiries from clients and underwriters.
- Work with the Client Executives and Client Service Managers in negotiating with Insurers and/or changes, renewals and new business where applicable.
- Review policy wordings and other documentation for accuracy and completeness and as required, note and correct errors.
- Create abeyance and follows up for outstanding items from underwriters, markets and clients.
- Market own new business and renewals when necessary.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding client receivables.
- Create and streamline processes.
- Responsible for monthly Bordereaux, where required
- Invoice and manage receivables.
- Other miscellaneous duties and special projects as required.
- 2-3 years of industry-related experience, experience in Surety is an asset.
- Professional designation required (RIBO)
- Good knowledge of markets and their policy wordings
- Good knowledge of Intact Broker Portal and EPIC is an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
