Job Title:
Finishing Carpenter

Job Summary:
At Lane One Homes Ltd. We create innovation for the next generation of housing. We factory produce our steel framed homes and provide on site installation. We handle everything from the delivery of the unit to the final finishing touches. We are currently seeking a skilled Finishing Carpenter. Finishing Carpenters are responsible for installing moulding, doors, trim, and cabinets. This is a full time position, Monday-Friday.

**Responsibilities**:

- Measure, cut, and shape materials to fit the building’s interior, ensuring proper alignment and installation.
- Taking measurement and estimating materials needed.
- Installation of cabinets, moulding, doors, flooring, trim, plywood, and frame work.
- Use of power and hand tools to cut and install materials.
- Collaborators with other trades, such as roofers, electricians, and plumber to coordinate work activities and be willing to assist if needed.
- Inspect damaged material and repair or replace as necessary
- Pick up materials from supplies as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensure proper storage of materials and tools and disposal of waste.

**Requirements**:

- Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
- Previous experience in finishing carpentry
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans
- Willingness to drive vehicles such as F550s and tow trailers as needed
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Knowledge with completing hazard assessments, inspections or the use of SiteDocs
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work tasks
- Attention to details and problem solving skills
- Ability to work well in teams as well as independently

**Experience**:

- Carpentry: 2 years (required)

Job Schedule:

- Monday-Friday

**Salary**:

- $25.00-$34.00 per hour based on experience
