Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of a warehouse facility. This position involves managing a team of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining inventory accuracy, and adhering to safety protocols. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for maintaining high productivity levels, meeting deadlines, and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Job Duties

**1. Team Management**:

- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse employees, including training.
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure the team's adherence to work schedules.
- Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and resolve any conflicts that may arise.

**2. Warehouse Operations**:

- Oversee and participate in all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts/audits, and implement inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping of all warehouse transactions.
- Develop and implement efficient processes and procedures to optimize warehouse operations.
- Continuously evaluate and improve productivity, minimize downtime, and streamline workflows.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the efficiency and effectiveness of warehouse operations.

**3. Safety and Compliance**:

- Enforce safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and train employees on safe work practices.

**4. Quality Control and Customer Service**:

- Implement quality control measures to maintain the accuracy and integrity of inventory.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and customer service, to meet customer demands and resolve any issues promptly.

**5. Equipment and Maintenance**:

- Monitor the condition and functionality of warehouse equipment, such as trans pallet and and conveyor.
- Schedule regular maintenance and repairs
- Coordinate with the maintenance department to address any equipment malfunctions or breakdowns.

6. Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and organized.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for inventory management
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to warehousing.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects when required (up to 50 lbs)
- Trans pallet certification (an asset)

**2. Opérations d’entrepôt**:

- Superviser et participer à toutes les activités d'entrepôt, y compris la réception, le stockage, la préparation de commandes et l'expédition de marchandises.
- Surveiller les niveaux de stock, effectuer régulièrement des comptages/audits cycliques et mettre en place des mesures de contrôle des stocks pour minimiser les écarts.
- Assurer une documentation précise et une tenue des registres de toutes les transactions d'entrepôt.
- Développer et mettre en œuvre des processus et des procédures efficaces pour optimiser les opérations d'entrepôt.
- Évaluer en continu et améliorer la productivité, réduire les temps d'arrêt et rationaliser les flux de travail.
- Surveiller les indicateurs de performance clés (KPI) pour suivre l'efficacité et l'efficacité des opérations d'entrepôt.

**3. Sécurité et conformité**:

- Appliquer les réglementations et les directives en matière de sécurité pour garantir un environnement de travail sûr.
- Effectuer régulièrement des inspections de sécurité et former les employés aux bonnes pratiques de travail sécuritaire.
