We are looking for an experienced Carpenter/Finisher to join our team and contribute to our reputation for precision and quality.

As a Carpenter/Finisher at Lumia Group Contracting, you will be responsible for the all stages of our high-end residential projects. Your expertise in finishing carpentry will be key to ensuring the quality and attention to detail that we are known for as the project comes to a close. You will work closely with other trades and project managers to execute the projects from start to finish.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform high-quality carpentry tasks, including framing, back-framing, window install, siding and weatherproofing, trim work, moldings, door installations, and custom woodwork.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to complete work to exacting standards.
- Collaborate with other trades and site supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Ensure all work is completed with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Utilize knowledge of the building process and building code to address potential issues and maintain high standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project goals are met.

**Qualifications**:

- 4+ years of experience in carpentry.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
- Familiarity with modern tools, materials, and finishing techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong organization and ability to use digital tools/computers.
- Knowledge of BC building codes and standards.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
