**Accountabilities**
- Take ownership of the development of solutions from concept to completion
- Collaborate with teams across the organization, as well as vendors to develop and deliver solutions to customers
- Create/ manage technical documents and files
- Provide support and expertise during project commissioning and aftermarket - Provide internal and external consultation on projects
Stay up to date on the latest technologies while looking for opportunities to enhance Applied’s product and service offerings
- Create quotes & proposals for projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
**Requirements and competencies**
- Mechanical Aptitude (3-5 years of experience)
- P. ENG, CET, EIT or MET in relevant discipline preferred
- CFPHS (Certified Fluid Power Hydraulic Specialist) would be an asset
- Experience using 2D & 3D CAD software (Autocad & Inventor) - Strong knowledge in Fluid Power would be an asset
- Understanding of electrical integration in relevant technologies would be an asset
- Demonstrated ability to lead and follow complex projects with many stakeholders involved
- Driven by team results
- Innovative mindset
- Strong communication & presentation skills
- Ability to manage time and be agile on projects
- Willingness and ability to travel
