We invite you to be part of our evolution. **The Opportunity** We are currently seeking a **Supervisor, Inventory Management **to join our **Inbound Logistics **team in **Sudbury **. This is a **permanent **position. This position is accountable for leadership of the Inventory Management Team Canada wide and all sites (Sudbury/Thompson/Long Harbour/Voisey’s Bay) Stockable MRO Inventory items. This roll must ensure stockable inventory is appropriately recorded, stored, and controlled at warehouses and stock keeping locations. Reporting to this position is - between 6 to 8 minimum Inventory Analysts/material controllers from sites. The job leads in service excellence, implementing strategies to reduce costs, provides focus on inventory items identified as critical, and must maintain optimum stocking levels. A key accountability is providing leadership to Inventory Management, and partnering with all stakeholders, to identify quantity and type of inventory required, management of critical vs. slow moving and obsolete, materials and management of inventory at strategically located sites to meet service requirements. SLAs must be negotiated and managed with collaboration with the operations, and reports implemented to measure performance effectiveness, the supervisor must ensure inventory is controlled and delivered in accordance with expected SLA timelines. Additionally, in this position you will: - Ensure safe practices are followed - completely accountable for worker safety and ensuring for Zero Harm. - Provide leadership to employees; administer grievances and ensure effective union management relations, critical for enhancing safety and uplifting service. - Take ownership for all "shadow inventory" and converting this to "stockable".
